And more importantly the cost is for repairing your bumper scuff or scratch is much lower than having it repaired in a traditional body shop.

Method For Exterior Paint Repairs

The first step is to find the paint code for your vehicle to ensure the repaired portion of vehicle matches the colour of the original paint job. This is easy to do for any colour or model of car since the paint code is usually found in the driver side door jamb. Other places where the paint code can also be found are inside the glove box, under the hood, in the trunk and under the spare tire cover.

After finding out the paint code of your car the paint is mixed using our on board computer and tint system to make as near a match as possible.

The damaged and surrounding area is then cleaned and prepared ensuring all tar or fly spots etc are removed.

It is then filled if necessary, sanded and primed for painting.

The area is then painted while aiming to keep the repair to a minimum. After ensuring the area is adequately covered with paint a clear coat lacquer is applied and then the fade out technique is used to blend the repair in to the section.

The repair is then baked dry using an infrared lamp and machine polished to produce a beautiful finish.
