What is MOP?
Exterior Paint Renovation
Otherswise known as BODY MOPPING. This technique is designed to restore your vehicles paintwork to its former glory.
The process involves sanding (wet and dry) the vehicle and mopping it using a machine polisher with various grades of compound before applying a finishing polish to restore the shine.
What this does is remove or reduce any blemishes from the paintwork including car wash scratches, country lane scratches ie those caused by bushes or hedges, bird lime removal if treated early enough (otherwise it will eat through the lacquer). Plus generally flat, dull or unloved paintwork. Also it will restore the shine to those vehicles rormally red or dark coloured that have been affected by sunlight.
The whole process can take the best part of a day when done properly, especially if the vehicle is a bit of a mess. However, the result is well worth the effort as many of our customers can concur!
Although we are more than happy to work on just one or all the panels, often the best results are achieved when
